Erasmus+ Project Writing Training
Course Description
Erasmus+ is the European Union’s program to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. It aims to provide opportunities for individuals and organizations to develop their skills, acquire new knowledge, and gain valuable international experiences. One of the ways that Erasmus+ supports this goal is through the funding of projects that promote cooperation and mobility among educators and students.
Erasmus+ Project Writing Training is a course that is designed to help educators learn how to write successful Erasmus+ projects. The training course will provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to develop and submit a competitive Erasmus+ project proposal. It will also provide participants with an understanding of the Erasmus+ program and its funding opportunities, as well as the evaluation criteria used to assess project proposals.
The training course will be composed of interactive workshops, group discussions, and hands-on activities that will be designed to give participants the opportunity to learn by doing. The course will be led by experienced instructors who have a deep understanding of the Erasmus+ program and have successfully written and implemented Erasmus+ projects in the past.
The main goal of the Erasmus+ Project Writing Training is to empower educators to develop and submit competitive Erasmus+ project proposals that will be successful in securing funding and making a positive impact in the field of education. This training will be beneficial for educators, school leaders, and staff who are interested in participating in Erasmus+ projects, and want to learn more about the opportunities and requirements of the program.
Learning Outcomes
Successful graduates of the course will have the knowledge and skills to do the following:
- Understand the goals, objectives, and funding opportunities of the Erasmus+ program and the key concepts and principles of project writing
- Develop the ability to generate and evaluate project ideas, and to design and plan projects using relevant techniques and strategies
- Develop the ability to write clear, compelling, and competitive project proposals that align with the Erasmus+ evaluation criteria
- Develop the ability to create realistic and well-planned budgets and financial plans for projects
- Develop the ability to implement and manage projects effectively, using relevant techniques and strategies
- Develop the ability to evaluate and assess the impact of projects, using relevant techniques and strategies
- Develop the ability to establish partnerships and build a strong project consortium
- Develop the ability to create and implement effective communication and dissemination plans for projects
- Develop the ability to identify and address sustainability and legacy issues in projects, and to develop plans for ensuring the long-term impact of projects

Course Details
TARGET GROUP
Professionals in the education sector (e.g., teachers, guidance counselors, principals, and administrators at elementary, middle, higher education, vocational institutions, kindergartens and pre-primary schools) and non-governmental organization (NGO) staff.
METHODOLOGY
Interactive Workshops: Participants will engage in interactive workshops that provide them with an in-depth understanding of the Erasmus+ program and its funding opportunities. The workshops will cover topics such as the different types of Erasmus+ projects, the evaluation criteria used to assess project proposals, and the steps involved in the application process.
Hands-on Activities: Participants will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge through hands-on activities that will help them to understand the concepts and strategies discussed in the workshops. These activities will be designed to be relevant to the participants’ own projects and will allow them to experiment with different project ideas and strategies.
Discussions: Participants will engage in discussions that will provide them with an opportunity to share their ideas, experiences, and best practices with their peers. Discussions will be moderated by experienced instructors who will provide guidance and support as needed.
Project Development: Participants will work in small teams to develop their own project proposal. They will receive feedback from the trainers and the peer groups, and will have the opportunity to revise and improve their proposal based on the feedback received.
Mentoring and Follow-up: Participants will receive mentoring and follow-up support to help them implement their projects. The mentoring will be provided through online platforms, webinars or phone calls and will be tailored to the specific needs of the participants.
Self-evaluation: Participants will be encouraged to evaluate the effectiveness of their projects through the use of self-evaluation tools and techniques. This will help participants to identify areas where they need further support and guidance.
The methodology could be adjusted depending on the specific need of the training course, the number of participants and the available resources. The main goal is to provide educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and submit a competitive Erasmus+ project proposal and successfully implement an Erasmus+ project.
